Pet-Pet Fruit

The Pet-Pet Fruit (ペトペト実, Peto Peto Mi) is a Paramythia-type Cursed Fruit that allows the user to control all living creatures by giving them green jell-like collars. "Peto" comes from "petto", the Japanese way of pronouncing the word "pet". It was eaten by Breed.

Strengths and WeaknessesEdit

StrengthsEdit

The power of the fruit allows Breed to control all living things by giving them green gel-like collars. This collar appears from his hand and is placed or thrown onto the victim's neck. The user can also bring out the full potential of its victim to use as his strength.

As the collars are projectiles, they can be dodged with ease by a sufficiently fast and alert opponent. Also, even if the user can control its victim's body it cannot control its consciousness and senses.

WeaknessesEdit

Aside from this, the fruit so far does not seem to have any specific weaknesses outside the standard Cursed Fruit weaknesses.

UsageEdit

Breed uses it to tame many animals like a Kung-Fu Jugons, and even Chopper. He is also shown to be able to place collars onto humans, such as Natsu, Luffy and Law.

TriviaEdit

  • The Cursed Fruit's name can be mistaken as betobeto (べとべと), which can mean "sticky".
  • This is also the second Cursed Fruit to have it's name misheard as some other unrelated (and just as offensive to the user) word. The first being Eric's Sickle-Sickle Fruit being mistaken as "okama" (crossdresser). Coincidentally, both Cursed Fruits belong to filler antagonists.
